A huge Internet outrage has erupted in the wake of GoDaddy's latest commercial leak online of what was apparently going to be their Superbowl commercial. Which has now been pulled.

In what appears to be a clear attempt to court sadist and sociopathic customers, they tell the tale of the abandoned puppy that desperately tries to find its way back to its owner (a GoDaddy customer) who expresses excitement at the puppy returning home after its arduous journey so she can ship it off to someone who bought it off her GoDaddy web site... yes... WHAT?

Watch the video - we have it here. GoDaddy has pulled it from the Internet.

A Republican congressman accused of abusing his ex-mistress agreed to pay her about $500,000 in a settlement last year that contained a powerful incentive for her to keep quiet until after Election Day, a person familiar with the terms of the deal told The Associated Press.

Rep. Don Sherwood is locked in a tight re-election race against a Democratic opponent who has seized on the four-term congressman's relationship with the woman. While Sherwood acknowledged the woman was his mistress, he denied abusing her and said that he had settled her $5.5 million lawsuit on confidential terms.

With the capital already mired in its latest sex scandal, federal agents last week raided the home of a woman they allege has, for the past 13 years, operated a Washington, D.C. escort service that dispatched college-educated prostitutes to the homes and hotel rooms of well-heeled clients. A two-year probe by Internal Revenue Service and Unites States Postal Inspection Service agents has targeted the Pamela Martin & Associates escort service and its owner.

A BBC documentary has exposed that Pope Benedict XVI, aka Cardinal Ratzinger, played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by Roman Catholic priests.

In 2001, while he was a cardinal, he issued a secret Vatican edict to Catholic bishops all over the world, instructing them to put the Church's interests ahead of child safety.

The document recommended that rather than reporting sexual abuse to the relevant legal authorities, bishops should encourage the victim, witnesses and perpetrator not to talk about it. And, to keep victims quiet, it threatened that if they repeat the allegations they would be excommunicated.

Congressman Tom Reynolds' (R-NY) chief of staff, Kirk Fordham, tried to broker a secret deal last Friday to get ABC News to cover up the worst part of the Foley child predator scandal, the lurid five-plus-page instant message chat in which Foley asked a child to measure his penis and then led the child into a detailed discussion of masturbatory techniques.

The scandal, now dubbed "Masturgate" is spreading across the net like fire, even though the mainstream media continues to turn a hairy palm and blind eye to the details that high ranking officials knew about the congressman's activities and tried to cover it up for more than FIVE YEARS!

And what's Foley done in the wake of the scandal? The standard celebrity & conservative escape hatch made famous by everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Mel Gibson: blame it on alcohol and check yourself into rehab.

But wait, we have more, oh so much more, including double video goodness.

Rep. Mark Foley, R-Florida, submitted a letter of resignation from Congress on Friday in the wake of questions about e-mails he wrote a former 16-year-old male page, according to a congressional official. Foley, 52, had been considered a shoo-in for re-election until the e-mails surfaced in recent days.

So what kind of republican starts creeping out a 16-year-old boy by talking about "sexual organs and acts?" The one that's the Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus for Missing & Exploited Children.

When you're caught doing something horribly wrong, you could apologize... or you could hire a firm to do it for you.

Faced with a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the payment of approximately $A300 million in kickbacks to Saddam Hussein's government, in breach of the United Nations' Iraq Oil-for-Food Program, the Australian wheat trader AWB Limited hired crisis management guru Peter Sandman to help it draft an apology. The Australian inquiry released e-mails between Sandman and AWB, which reveal that Sandman's proposed confessional statement was watered down by ABW's other PR adviser, Ian Smith from Gavin Anderson & Company. "The less you blame yourself, the more the public will blame you. You aren't blaming yourself nearly enough in this draft," Sandman wrote in one e-mail. Sandman's original three-page statement was eventually pared back to only one page. However, AWB executives decided not to make a public apology at all. The inquiry resumes public hearings in two weeks.

Yesterday, five miners died in a Kentucky mine explosion. Some are asking what's being done to improve mining conditions.

George Miller, who co-sponsored a miner safety bill in the wake of the Sago mine tragedy, that Congress doesn't seem to care about, says "When Janet Jackson had her wardrobe [malfunction], it took Congress 40 days to change the law...It's now over 120 days, and Congress hasn't done a damn thing about securing a safer workplace for these miners and for these families."

Obviously the problem is these miners aren't wearing g-strings.

Two people that one wouldn't expect to see in a sex scene are Kid Rock and former Creed frontman-turned-Jesus, Scott Stapp. Nonetheless, a company named Red Light District, the same who hawked the Paris Hilton sex tape, now plans to release this orgy of music personality mediocrity.

Update: A Florida woman who stars in the Kid Rock-Scott Stapp sex tape has filed a lawsuit against the California company that has recently tried to market the racy video of her 1999 tour bus encounter with the two rock stars. In a complaint filed yesterday in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court, the woman, identified only as "Jane Doe," contends she has suffered emotional distress (and had her, um, privacy invaded) as a result of the attempted sale of the video by World Wide Red Light District. While a federal judge last month halted the video's distribution at the request of Rock (real name: Robert Ritchie), segments of the sex tape have appeared online.

In August 2004, the consulting firm McKinsey & Company told Wal-Mart, "The public believes [Wal-Mart] treats its employees poorly and is a negative force in communities." The report suggests steps for "managing change," including to "spread messages that it cares for employees, build local relationships, increase local philanthropy." McKinsey also helped prepare a memo, leaked to the New York Times last week, that proposed "numerous ways to hold down spending on health care and other benefits," in part by "discouraging unhealthy people from working at Wal-Mart." With the new Robert Greenwald documentary "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" about to be released, Wal-Mart's PR firm, Edelman, "sent reporters a press kit last week attacking claims made in the film's trailer, along with negative reviews of Greenwald's previous work. Wal-Mart is also promoting a competing documentary about the company, directed by Ron Galloway, titled 'Why Wal-Mart Works & Why That Drives Some People Crazy.'"
