 Two people that one wouldn't expect to see in a sex scene are Kid Rock and former Creed frontman-turned-Jesus, Scott Stapp. Nonetheless, a company named Red Light District, the same who hawked the Paris Hilton sex tape, now plans to release this orgy of music personality mediocrity.
Update: A Florida woman who stars in the Kid Rock-Scott Stapp sex tape has filed a lawsuit against the California company that has recently tried to market the racy video of her 1999 tour bus encounter with the two rock stars. In a complaint filed yesterday in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court, the woman, identified only as "Jane Doe," contends she has suffered emotional distress (and had her, um, privacy invaded) as a result of the attempted sale of the video by World Wide Red Light District. While a federal judge last month halted the video's distribution at the request of Rock (real name: Robert Ritchie), segments of the sex tape have appeared online. |

If you're a fan of the HBO series, "Deadwood", you may find this extremely amusing.
Apparently the "next big thing" after Passion of the Christ, as lauded by various Christian groups is the new movie "March of the Penguins". As more and more churches seem to morph into PACs and focused consumer groups purchasing block tickets to 'Christian-friendly' movies, the latest fad is this penguin movie, in which some claim to see God in the Emperor Penguin. Ironically this is a French-made movie.
This week, executives in the movie/theatre business took a break from resting their heads comfortably up their butts to state that they're concerned over lagging attendence and receipts at theatres, citing one of the worst theatrical slumps in twenty years. Shortly thereafter they beamed with excitement about the new movies on the horizon such as Bewitched and War of the Worlds, then resumed their cranial-buttock encampment.
No more than a week or two after Lucas adamantely claimed this was the end of the Star Wars movies, he is now hinting at doing a prequel to Episode I, proving that he has yet to beat the bloody pulp that was once a single great movie, into a steaming pile of medocrity designed to sell boxes of Frosted Mini Wheats and M&Ms.
