[Music]
Clear Channel Communications, the corporation almost exclusively responsible for destroying the music industry and making radio unlistenable, is now setting its sights on the world wide web. In related news, Toby Keith can now properly pronounce the word, "modem."

The company has historically thrived on being able to buy the lion's share of radio stations in various markets and force their brand of crap upon listeners, but as more and more people move away from traditional, corporate-controlled media to the Internet, companies like Clear Channel are trying adapt, and perhaps employ their mafia tactics in cyberspace like they have in radio and concert venues.

Some pundits think that Clear Channel's move onto the Internet will mean that they'll bring their brand of blacklisting and control to the web, where they'll force artists to sign exclusive contracts to only appear on their online sites. This could end up being a boon to those of us who don't want to see Toby Keith or Sevin Mary Three advertisements on every web site.
