montel speaks out Posted by gmaduck on 2008-01-29 13:00:17 | I'd listen to Montel if he didn't promote obviously idiotic frauds like Sylvia Browne. Until he admits this desception, there is nothing he can say that interests me in the least, even if it is the truth. He's blurred the line so the truth is no longer detectable. |
Posted by Gmadduckk on 2008-01-31 02:43:07 | You act as if he has full control over what is aired on his show. |
Posted by Jamie on 2008-01-31 10:19:37 | Yea, its true - it IS a sad reality. |
bs Posted by hmack on 2008-01-31 13:27:49 | atlest someones willing to stand up for the truth and for our soldiers over in iraq who are dying, i think when a man dies, the least we could do is remember his name |
Posted by Boycott Fox News on 2008-02-01 14:12:21 | Montell is absolutely right. I am sick of seeing so much coverage given to celebrities for the little stuff that they do. Its really retarded. Brittany spears this, paris hilton that. Its crazy. Why don't we give more attention to the important things in life? Why do celebrities get off with slaps on the wrist for DUI's, Drug use, etc... and the rest of us end up in jail? |
Posted by Tom ruise on 2008-02-01 17:13:07 | Hey, look the thing is is that I'm at this level, basicly I am the one who makes things happen, not you not anyone, no one.

got what he wanted Posted by ohmyyy on 2008-02-02 14:29:20 | is montel playing the "concerned citizen" in order to wrap the flag around himself, or does he really care?
i.e. I think the whole thing was staged and the scene was trying to yank around the emotions of the faux news crowd.
what about the million Iraq civilians or 100,000+ injured soldiers?
would we have time to think about anything else if we really observed all these deaths?
obviously, it's time to end the war! |
Montel Posted by 1ConservativeGenius on 2008-06-02 21:17:32 | Guys, Montel went on the Neal Cavuto show on the following Monday and said he dropped the "F" word live while going into a commercial. He stated that neither dropping the word nor his thoughts expressed about media coverage of heroic troops vs Hollywierd tragedies, had ANYTHING to do with his show being cancelled.
Fox is getting a bad rap for something that happened because his ratings had dropped 3-fold over the 17 year run.
Hysterical hate of FOX is driving this story, which is absolutely NOTHING.
He stated that the producer at the Saturday occurance of his appearance, held the segment over because he was doing very well. He wasn't brought back because the two segments were compiled into one. That's all.
Each FOX station is independently managed. "Big Daddy" didn't call up with a red face to tell them to cancel Montel. Besides, his show was produced by CBS. You people need to understand the business of telelvision and media. No ratings equals no renewal... that's all. |
