Actually, MORE so- can you imagine a U.S. Sky Marshal giving an Iranian passenger a present and an invitation back? |
Posted by Pile on 2007-05-09 14:51:00 | You have to wonder... there are probably stories like this all the time that happen. I'm sure there were stories like this of Jews going into Iraq as well. The media picks and chooses what stories they want to call attention to. It's interesting that now, on the brink of Bush threatening to attack Iran, that we're seeing stories like this leaked out -- I refuse to believe that before, there were no nice people in Iran or any country for that matter, who didn't blindly accept state or media-sanctioned hatred of certain groups of people. In a way, it's kind of sad this makes news. But it seems better news than what we normally get. |
