The web site Howstuffworks.com used to be a pretty neat site, until like traditional media they decided to completely eradicate the line between editorial and advertising. In the wake of the next Star Wars movie, they've taken to publishing articles such as How Stuff Works: a Lightsaber. Ok, I can appreciate the humor of the article, but I still think there's something wrong about a science-oriented site tainting their content with viral marketing propaganda.

Is there anything left that hasn't been branded by the team of Star Wars marketing whores?
