Researchers at the University of California at Los Angeles have tweaked HIV to create a gene therapy that attacks cancer tumors in mice. How can they tell? Well they also attached Fire-fly proteins and then watched the glowing virus do its work. What's that sound you say? It's a thousand hollywood writers folding this into upcoming plots of CSI, JAG, ER and Third Watch episodes.
