Many homosexual people feel that in order to avoid persecution by "normal" people they have to hide what they are, that they have to "stay in the closet." How pissed would you be if one of the people that kept you there had sex with a gay prostitute? In women's underwear? |
| Washington State Rep. Richard Curtis, a staunch Republican and defender of fine family values, was seen wearing women's lingerie at a local adult store. While there he conversed with the clerk, who referred to him in police records as "The Cross-Dresser" (note: a bad thing to put on your election placards) and said that he was in fact gay AND married with children, a family model that just about nobody endorses as healthy. Curtis was there not only to make incriminating small talk with minimum-wage employees, but to find one Cody Castagna, a 26-year-old gay prostitute. Actually, he was also there to receive oral sex from an unidentified man in one of the movie viewing booths inside the store, but AFTER that he found Mr. Castagna. After hooking up with each other the couple went back to Curtis' hotel room to have sex, something that Rep. Curtis has gone on record as saying he opposes. Presumably this was some kind of fact-finding mission. Rep. Curtis has voted against domestic partnerships for gay and lesbians (because then he'll have to pay alimony twice) and opposed a gay rights bill that banned discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. So feel free to discriminate as much as you want to against Representative Richard Curtis. |

not surprising Posted by Phracktivist on 2007-11-08 10:58:34 | I continually find these interesting scandals in the Republican party. Many of them claim to be vehemently anti-gay and all about values, but what happens is someone catches them participating in homosexual sex and often times there are issues of pedophelia as well (see: Conspiracy of Silence). Now, I don't think that the Democrats are any better, but it's interesting that this keeps happening to Republicans. |
Same here in florida Posted by Anonymous on 2007-11-08 23:12:28 | We are now holding the trial of a State Rep Allen (R) here in FL. Allen was caught allegedly propositioning for gay oral sex in a mens room in a public park in broad daylight one afternoon a few months ago. He claims he was intimidated by the big black police officer and so played along with the gay sex talk. He says he was scouting the park as a location for an upcoming event. His record of intolerance if course the same as the featured politician. |
