Blogger gets "cease and desist" from Hasbro/GI Joe

A local web site that features GI Joe parodies of public service announcements has received a nasty letter from Hasbro's legal team claiming this is infringement. Hasbro apparently has a long history of harassing people via questionable lawsuits.

If you've seen the video clips, you know they're rather innocuous. I suspect the real reason is they may need to re-deploy GI Joe to Iraq to help with the "peacekeeping."
