Creepy Santa Gets Busted Posted by ueberbill (8341 views) [E-Mail link] A Santa impersonator tried to kidnap an 8 year old girl on his motorcycle ("On Harley! On Suzuki! On Yamaha!") and got run down by the girl's father in his minivan. Charged with kidnapping, he's looking at a spot on the naughty list for up to thirty years. John Michael Barton, the salacious Santa in question, tempted the girl over to his hog to see a stuffed reindeer he had in his sidecar (is that what they're calling it nowadays) at a gas station they were all stopped at, tossed her on the bike, and took off. After running Barton down on the highway, the father retrieved the girl unharmed and St. Nick was later picked up hiding in the utility room of a bar nearby. Barton had been portraying a Santa for some time and had given rides to other children in the area ('cause nothing says "trust me with your children" like an old bearded guy on a motorcycle).
