This is one of the neatest webcams ever. Imagine a live camera on a watering hold streaming live video from Africa.

Nkorho Pan is a natural water hole in the prestigious Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, in South Africa. Nkorho pan is named after Nkorho bush Lodge which gets it name from the Shangaan derivative for the call of the yellow-billed hornbill, a common and unusual looking bird from this area.

Wow a chance to see a bunch of loud birds. Oh wait you hardly ever see anything. This may be a good ida but its not worth watching to see an animal every 10 hours.
no one asked you to watch
Posted by viet on 2006-10-08 14:26:02
if you don't want to watch, then don't watch. did you expect to see a bunch of animals killing each other every minute? that's not how nature works.
AUSTIN.

Posted by rtivy on 2006-10-08 15:20:30

pretty cool
Posted by Cricket on 2006-10-08 15:21:37
I must just be lucky, but the first time I watched the camera there was a cheetah drinking, and I just turned it on for a second time and there was a hyena. Pretty awesome stuff
so?
Posted by foreal on 2006-10-08 17:14:42
So what if its not how nature works. Thats more or less exactly my point. Why would you make a video or watch a video of something this unitresting and with such little action.
Neat-o

This is spectacular. And all you who said you hated it, you still watched it, no one said you had to. Keep your ignorant opinions to yourself.
Posted by Anonymous on 2006-10-08 18:59:25
Lets see some Pygmis!
Ignorance is bliss.
Posted by foreal on 2006-10-08 20:00:46
You say people who dont like it are ignorant? So people who just have different opinions of whats good and whats not are ignorant? You sem to be the ignorant.
Cool Idea

I've only been watching this for about ten minutes, and it's night right now in Africa so I've only been bringing it up periodically,. I maximized it just a couple minutes ago and I saw three shooting stars go right across the top of the screen and they were reflected in the water! I can't wait until I actually see some animals!
Those weren't shooting stars...
Posted by Sinistrad on 2006-10-09 12:12:10
The angle isn't right in the camera to actually catch stars. I got a few "shooting stars", too, and then I realized they're probably bats or nocturnal birds. The camera's using Infrared at night, that's just the reflection of fast moving objects.
tuff

Great, some stupid teenager with bad skin and a non-existant sex life seems to have hacked it, so now it's playing a cheesy Matrix-wannabe graphic.
WTF?
Posted by Shaox on 2006-10-11 18:00:24
It's playing a 30 second video with a Matrix-like background and a creepy face....
Posted by Anonymous on 2006-10-13 23:20:00
you know all ya haters loved it or you wouldn't be talking about it so much. seems like your the ones who need to get a life.
