"What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" ...except sometimes it also stays on your police record, according to an area Sheriff when explaining the increased crime in the Nevada area.

Sheriff Bill Young says over the years he's seen tourist attitudes change, especially because certain ads are targeted at the younger crowd. He says the number of all night clubs has multiplied dramatically, and ads are encouraging people to lose their inhibitions and cause problems for police.

That kind of advertising is so reckless! The reason companies advertise is because it is persuasive. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that if you encourage immoral behavior, then immoral behavior is going to increase. I'm amazed at the lack of ethics these people who thought up the Vegas ads have. Now you only have to drive about 10 city blocks to see a poster or billboard encouraging people to party all night long, or have sex with whomever (even more than one person at a time) and lie about what you were doing. Please!
