Wal-Mart Test Markets Biblical Action Figures

Wal-Mart plans to test-market biblical action figures in U.S. stores as a "faith-based" alternative to toys tied to commercial movies, video games and TV.

The toys -- ranging from a talking 12-inch Jesus doll to 3-inch figurines depicting Moses and the Ten Plagues of Egypt -- will be available in about 425 of Wal-Mart's 3,376 stores in 21 states, starting in mid-August.

Locusts, fire, and brimstone sold separately.

The British troops serving in Iraq want to make one thing perfectly clear: they did not introduce man-eating badgers to Iraq, period.

Locals near the southern Iraqi city of Basra have begun circulating rumors that the deadly 30-pound creatures were brought in by the British to cause panic.

And here we were thinking that a surge of human soldiers would be the way to go.

Supreme Court Rules Against Separation Of Church And State

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that ordinary taxpayers cannot challenge a White House initiative that helps religious charities get a share of federal money.

The 5-4 decision (along predictable party lines) blocks a lawsuit by a group of atheists and agnostics against eight Bush administration officials including the head of the White House Faith-Based Office.

Today's news is that to help stabilize Iraq, the military has now begun giving weapons to the insurgent militia -- the Sunnis who have been blowing up U.S. troops, on the premise they will use these weapons to fight Al-Qaeda and not blow up Americans. Ok, that sounds like a good idea... right?

Ok everybody, hold onto your hat.... actor Kirk Cameron and "best-selling" author Ray Comfort (aka "Banana Man") will square off with two atheists, known as the Rational Responders in New York on Saturday, May 5. ABC originally planned to stream the 90-minute debate LIVE on their website, but decided to reschedule the broadcast to capture a larger audience. Watch the Face Off Wednesday May 9 at 2 p.m. on ABC News Now, and on Nightline at 11:35 p.m.

Of course, we'll have the video here as soon as it becomes available... get excited... Ray Comfort, the guy who proved God exists by wielding a banana promises he can convince a national audience he will win a debate against the Rational Response team, a group of Internet atheists.

The latest environmental disaster appears to be related to the disappearance of bee colonies all around the world. Scientists are collecting evidence which suggests that cell phone signals and RF radiation is having an impact on bees and crops are not getting properly pollinated as a result.
