The Hummer H2, one of the largest penis enhancements currently on the road today, looks rugged and tough-- like it could take on any piece of road and eat competitor's cars for dinner (a much manlier meal that that wussy breakfast). When recently stacked up against a car made in 1921, however, the Hummer went a bit... limp.

Another day, another sex scandal involving a god-fearing republican who just happened to be a key supporter of John McCain. That and the fact that this legislator had also co-sponsored bills on public sex is pretty much par for the course with these guys. State Rep. Bob Allen, a co-chair of Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s Florida campaign, is expected to address Thursday charges that he offered to perform oral sex on an undercover male police officer for $20 in a bathroom in a public park. Oh yea, this is also the guy who authored a bill criminalizing public sex acts.

Two years ago today, Vice President Dick Cheney appeared on Larry King live to tell the American people that the Iraqi insurgency is "in its last throes" and that military activity in Iraq will decline.

So it's pretty sad and ironic that in light of the ever-increasing number of American servicemen getting killed by these "last throes" of militants, Fort Lewis has announced it will no longer hold individual memorial ceremonies for soldiers, instead holding larger, "super-sized" monthly memorials for all the dead servicemen each month.

But hey, good thing this Iraq issue is winding down...

A recent Government Accounting Office inquiry reveals that about 113,800 contractors working for a variety of federal agencies, including the Pentagon and the General Services Administration, have built up $7.7 billion in unpaid taxes. This matches untidily with a March GAO report saying that more than 21,000 doctors, health professionals or medical suppliers, collecting billions in federal Medicare dollars, simultaneously owed more than $1 billion in federal income taxes.

Cuba has slammed the US over what it says is a double standard on terrorism after a US federal judge ordered the release of an anti-Castro activist convicted in the deadly downing of a Cuban jet.

"The court ruling is yet another confirmation of the George W Bush Administration's double standard on its alleged war on terror," the Cuban Communist Party newspaper Granma said.

The ruling by a federal judge in Texas does not necessarily mean former CIA operative Luis Posada Carriles, 79, will leave jail immediately, since he could be arrested by US immigration officials who have a deportation order for him.
