Today another interesting piece of the puzzle surfaces as we see the moderate response to the wave of Clinton bashing going on. Check out this video of Keith Obermann kicking some major ass -- this may be one of the best editorials ever, and puts a lot of ambiguity to rest on the whole who-was-responsible-for-9/11 issue.

Thanks to Crooks and Liars for the Video - I put it up on YouTube so it can be streamed. This is an important video that everyone should see and discuss.

George W. -- This Century's Greatest Coward

This is worth every second of your time listening. Finally someone in the media shows what a coward George W. Bush and cronnies really are.
amazing video

I'm speechless. Why isn't this being broadcast everywhere? This is so powerful. I guess the corporations don't want to call attention to a guy at another company who really has something powerful to say.

Thanks to this video, I'm ten minutes and thirty one seconds late for work today.

Everyone else should be too.

This is truly compelling and important.

Did Bush blame Clinton?

Can Clinton deal with reporters questions without prompting?

Is every reporter a Lefty or Righty?

Would Monica-Gate have been as big without reporters delving into the private life of sitting presidents?

After 9/11, President Bush took responsibility for the government and created a plan of action.

Go back and read his original 9/11 speech. Every action promised has happened. It is easy to see future plans there as well.
take responsibility?
Posted by gerald on 2006-09-27 11:50:38
I don't see where Bush has taken responsibility or has acted responsibly, for that matter.
Posted by HeyBob on 2006-09-28 09:23:34
Bush took responsibility? How? Where? I don't think the American people ever heard of that. If he was really serious he would resign because he did a horrible job.

Think for a minute if a democrat had been in office during 9/11 with a republican congress? They'd have strung him up. The media would have blamed him for everything like they did Carter with the oil embargo and the hostage situation. Like Keith says in the video, "Bush gets a pass," moreso than any other president in the history of the country. And that's because most of the media won't tell the truth, and the lazy, distracted public doesn't do anything about it.
Finally.

FINALLY someone in the media gets the balls to step into the shoes left vacant by Murrow and Cronkite.

I am surprised and glad that there's a mainstream anchor out there who is actually willig to speak out like this. I thought that era was long dead. Bonus points for ending with "good night, and good luck."

It's Olbermann

He's only cool because he was a SportsCenter Anchorman.

Clinton could have tried harder to stop Bin Laden.

You people act like this guy just came from out of nowhere. He's been a big player in terror since the 80's.

I agree. Bush has done a horrible job at trying to stop terror. But, Clinton could have tried harder.

If you want to see an effective and long lasting means of curbing Islamic terror, read up on General John J. Pershing. See how he stopped terror for over 80 years. In one act. Read up.

I think that Mr. Obermann may very well be the best speaker that i've ever heard. He speaks total truth.
Of course Republican backs will be up, but i think it's truly for the party. IT's hard for people to admit they are wrong, so they MUST back the President. It can't be for the man. Anyone with a clear thought and who cares for anyone other than themselves must agree that the country is going in the wrong direction. It's not the Party's fault, it's not the peoples fault, it is the mans fault who is holding all the strings.
A difference of opinion?...your a trader.. Question the motives?...your a coward...Suggest a different path?...your a Fascist...
I agree with Mr. Obermann. I would work for him for free..
